Lessons
Is your child passionate about art, doodling all the time, just can’t get enough of drawing, and already knows, at age 4, that he or she wants to be an artist when they grow up? Are you wanting to support their artistic ideas, but not sure how? Perhaps you just don’t have the space or desire for the “mess” that is involved. If any of this sounds familiar, Artist at Play Studio may just be the perfect spot for your child…or even for you!
As art programs get reduced or totally cut from school’s curriculums, Artist at Play, the working art studio of printmaker Karen Weil, can be a dream-come-true for children (or adults) such as those described above.Berkeley artist, Karen Weil, will teach you and/or your child, beginning printmaking, in a friendly and creative environment. Using an etching press, non-toxic inks, and professional printing papers, you will learn to print Monoprints, mixed-media pieces, linoleum cuts, as well as serigraphs. Private lessons or semi-private lessons can be “made- to-order”. Let’s talk about the possibilities! Please contact me for more information or to arrange a visit to see the studio.
